What Exactly is KeryFlex?
KeryFlex is a newly nail restoration system that uses polymer resins and special activators to create a durable and natural looking nail. This system allows us to transform damaged nails affected by fungus, defects or trauma in just one visit.
KeryFlex application is painless and delivers immediate cosmetic enhancement. Furthermore, it is applied in the sanitary setting of our office. Think immaculate pedicure without the risks that come along with going to a nail salon.
There are multiple nail restoration technologies, but our Doctors prefer KeryFlex over them all. Here are a few reasons why we choose KeryFlex:
- Delivers immediate and significant cosmetic enhancement in only ONE visit
- Looks and feels completely natural on the toes
- Is compatible with human tissue and won’t irritate or cause further damage to the underlying nail
- Allows for the remaining nail to grow out naturally
- Does not allow moisture to penetrate
- It is unaffected by acetone, nail polishes and detergents
- It is available in three colors: clear, natural, and opaque
How Does it Work?
After you and your Podiatrist have determined that KeryFlex is right for you, you will experience a simple 6 step process of application.
Step 1: The damaged nail will be trimmed and filed down as much as possible
Step 2: Now that your nailbed is prepared, KeryFlex bonding agent is applied
Step 3: A coat of KeryFlex resin is applied
Step 4: The nail is put under a UV Light where the KeryFlex material hardens
Step 5: Re-application is applied if necessary
Step 6: Nail is buffed and molded to desired shape
Step 7: KeryFlex seal is applied and cured for 2 minutes
You can liken the experience to a mini salon pedicure that is quick and completely painless.
How Long Does it Take to Apply?
We can complete the application of KeryFlex Bonding Agent, KeryFlex Resin, and KeryFlex Sealant, with UV light curing time included in 15-30 minutes depending on the number of nails.
Can I Use Nail Polish and Polish Remover on a KeryFlex nail?
