There can’t be anything more embarrassing than celebrating, while simultaneously experiencing a total fail in front of thousands of people. PGA Golfer Tony Finau was just that lucky during his epic hole-in-one last Wednesday during the Par 3 contest at Augusta National. This was right before his first 2018 Masters tournament officially was underway- awful timing.

As you can see, after rolling his ankle he simply popped it back in and didn’t make too much of a big deal about it. He calmly hobbled towards his family to continue celebrating his win. It wasn’t until his next post on social media that anyone really got to see the severity of what happened:
While there were no broken bones or fractures found on the initial X-Ray, he was still scheduled for an MRI the day after to make sure there weren’t any more severe issues.
As we all know, this could have been so much worse. The Masters is easily the toughest and most intimidating major in golf.
Finau has been on the tour since 2008, and he enters Thursday’s tournament ranked eighth in the Fed Ex standings. Hopefully, he gets the “OK” from his Dr’s to continue playing. We are sure he would appreciate everybody’s thoughts and encouragement during this time…. Send some his way on instagram – tonyfinaugolf
